Empowering Girls,
Breaking Barriers

Our mission

Providing the world’s most cost-effective, engaging and empowering menstrual health programs, unleashing multiple collateral benefits (health and longevity, staying in school, professional opportunities, reducing child marriage).

Our vision

A world where all girls can fully participate in society and reach their full potential, unlimited by menstrual health challenges or related barriers.

Why FlowReady

For many girls, menstruation marks not just a biological milestone but a societal one—often signaling readiness for marriage and motherhood. These misconceptions, rooted in deep-seated cultural norms, can derail their futures, forcing them into early marriages and denying them the chance to complete their education.

In many low-income communities, particularly in Uganda, young girls face their first periods unprepared and uninformed. Shockingly, 66% of girls have no knowledge about menstruation before experiencing it. This lack of education leaves them vulnerable to stigma, misinformation, and harmful cultural practices. FlowReady exists to change this narrative. By equipping pre-menarchial girls with critical knowledge about menstruation, we aim to break the cycle of ignorance and empower them to navigate this natural transition with confidence and dignity.

What We Cover

  • Menstrual Hygiene Management: Practical knowledge and access to sustainable products.
  • SRHR Education: Topics like bodily autonomy, reproductive health, and dismantling myths around menarche and readiness for marriage.
